In the mid ’80s three teenagers began their artistic careers by creating subway graffiti. TATS CRU was founded by BRIM. They bombed the IRTs during the early '80s with many colorful burners. They were major players on the 2,5 and 6 lines of the IRT subway division. TATS CRU left Lexington Avenue behind to cover new ground on Madison Avenue.
